Terms
Terms of Use
These terms explain what you can expect from spl-management.com, what we ask of you when you use it, and where our responsibilities begin and end.
Effective date: September 22, 2026. These terms govern use of this website. Website content is general information, not professional advice.
SPL Management, Inc. (“SPL”, “we”, “us”) operates spl-management.com. The site provides information about our management and compliance services for regulated industries, along with a form you can use to request a consultation. These terms govern your use of the site. They do not replace or change any services agreement you may sign with us.
Accepting these terms
By visiting or using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. If you use the site on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that company.
Information only, not professional advice
The content on this site is general information about what we do and how we work. It is not advice for your situation. In particular:
- SPL is not a law firm, an accounting firm, or a licensed real estate brokerage.
- Nothing on the site is legal, tax, or brokerage advice.
- Using the site, or submitting the consultation form, does not create a client relationship with SPL.
- An engagement with SPL begins only when both parties sign a written agreement.
Rules in regulated industries change often and vary by jurisdiction. Before you act on anything you read here, confirm it with a qualified professional who knows your facts.
Regulated industries and our role
- SPL provides management and administrative services. We do not grow, manufacture, possess, transport, or sell cannabis, tobacco, nicotine, alcohol, or any other regulated product.
- We work only with businesses that hold, or are applying for, the licenses their state, provincial, and local rules require. Cannabis remains subject to federal law in the United States, and federal enforcement policy can change.
- Licensing decisions, inspection results, and enforcement actions belong to the regulator. SPL does not guarantee any license, approval, inspection, or audit outcome.
- SPL does not act as your legal representative, lobby on your behalf, negotiate leases, or source properties for compensation. Those matters stay with your attorney, broker, or other licensed professional.
- Articles in Insights describe rules as of their publication date and may since have changed.
Using the site
You may use the site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or copy the site or its content by automated means without our written permission
- Interfere with the site, its security, or the servers and networks that support it
- Submit false, misleading, or malicious information through the site
- Use the site in a way that breaks any law or infringes the rights of others
Consultation requests
The site includes a form for requesting a consultation. Submitting the form is a request, not an engagement. We aim to reply within two business days, but a reply does not commit either of us to any work. We may use the information you provide to reply to you, to understand your business, and to decide whether we are a good fit. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle that information. Please do not send confidential material through the form until we have agreed in writing to work together.

Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, SPL Management, Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content. This includes lost profits, lost data, and business interruption, even if we were told they were possible. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold harmless SPL Management, Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorney fees, that arises from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will note it here. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Termination
We may suspend or block access to the site, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice, including if we believe you have breached these terms. The sections on intellectual property, no warranties, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law continue to apply after your access ends.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute related to the site or these terms will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in Canada, including Quebec, nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived by contract. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
